========================================

I was in my penthouse, the place I usually stay. Though sometimes I go back to my parents’ house—either because they miss me, or maybe just want to spend some time together.
It was 2 AM, and for some reason, I couldn’t stop thinking about that girl.
Right after the party, I’d asked my assistant to look into her and gather every detail.
I went through all the information. Everything seemed fine—except for one thing I didn’t particularly like.
She had a boyfriend.
And that boyfriend was none other than Rajveer.
He smirked sarcastically at the thought, something clearly brewing in his mind.
A while later, he finally drifted off to sleep.

Today I woke up early, so I decided to do some yoga.
After that, I took a shower, wore my pink shirt with ice-blue denim and shoes. Then I did some minimal makeup, grabbed my bag, and headed downstairs.

I decided to go into the kitchen to help my mom.
“Good morning, Mumma,” I said, hugging her from behind.
“Good morning, Tara. And congratulations, beta! I knew my daughter would win that award—she’s just so talented,” Mom said warmly.
"Oh my God, Mumma praised me for the first time in my life. I can’t believe it", I thought to myself.
“I might get a heart attack this early in the morning after hearing you say that,” I joked.
She sighed and replied, “It’s moments like this that make me realize I gave birth to a crazy one.”
“By the way, Mom, when will Veer bhai come back? It’s been eight months since he left,” I asked.
“You have a phone, don’t you? Call him and ask whatever you want,” she replied.
I nodded and stepped outside for breakfast.
After that, I left for the office. As soon as I arrived, I received a warm and heart-touching welcome.
Everyone congratulated me. Then my friend Mahi came over and said, “Tara, you should throw a party! So, when are you planning it?”
Just then, Aditya joined in and said, “Of course, Tara! You have to throw a party. Now you decide when.”
“Okay guys, I’ll throw the party, don’t worry. I just got a message from the boss—he’s called me to his cabin. I’m heading there now. Bye bye, see you later…” I said and walked away.
Outside Mr. Vikram’s cabin, I knocked and said, “May I come in, Mr. Vikram?”
He replied, “Yes, come in, Tara.”
I stepped inside, and Mr. Vikram said, “First of all, congratulations. I’m so proud of you. The entire company is proud of you. You haven’t let our reputation fall—in fact, you’ve taken it to new heights.”
"Oh my God, am I daydreaming?" I wondered silently.
His voice snapped me out of my thoughts.
“That’s all, Miss Tara. You can go now. And yes—don’t get overconfident. This is just the first fruit of your hard work, so keep working hard,” Mr. Vikram said.
“Yes, Sir. I’ll definitely keep working hard,” I said, and walked out.

At the Penthouse
Today, I have an important meeting with some international clients, so I need to make sure everything is in order.
I called Deepak, and as soon as he picked up, I asked, “Is the pen drive safe?”
“Yes, boss. It’s safely with me,” Deepak replied confidently.
“That pen drive contains all the information about this project. It must not be leaked or fall into the wrong hands,” I said in my usual calm tone—cold to others, but normal for me.
(Well, if anyone has a problem with that, they can deal with it. And if they dare come to me, I’ll make sure they never think again.)
After the call, I had breakfast and headed to the venue where the meeting was scheduled.
At the Meeting Room
As soon as the meeting began, I asked Deepak to hand me the pen drive.
He gave it to me. But the moment I inserted it into the laptop, the words “You are a loser” flashed across the screen.
My eyes darkened with rage. I turned to Deepak, and he froze in fear.
“Boss, I swear I don’t know how this happened. Everything was fine when I checked it last. I have no idea how this suddenly changed. Please forgive me,” he stammered.
I immediately called Angad and told him to bring the backup pen drive.
Without wasting a second, he arrived at the meeting room. I plugged it in and presented the entire project to the clients, explaining every detail clearly.
The meeting ended successfully.
But now, I had a new mission—finding the person who dared to tamper with my pen drive. They have no idea who they’ve messed with. They’ll learn soon enough.
I asked Deepak to show me the CCTV footage from my cabin.
We checked the footage—but it was all black.
“That bastard is going to pay for this. Just wait. DV is coming for you, no matter who you are or where you hide,” I said, smirking dangerously.
Then I pulled a flower from the vase on my desk and pressed a hidden button behind it. Did that fool really think he could win by hacking a few cameras?
He doesn’t know there are cameras installed in every corner of DV’s cabin. What a joke.
I checked the hidden footage and found out who it was.
I called Angad and said, “The person in the footage I just sent you should be in the basement tonight. If not, be ready for the consequences.”
Without waiting for his reply, I hung up and got back to work on my laptop.

And one thing also Angad is Siddharth's left hand in mafia and works as his assistant and he also a very good friend of him.
That’s all for today, guys...
